Description
Beginning of the line! Grassfield Bay is the western end station from where the metro line begins and runs eastbound. It's name comes from the actual end station of the East Metro in Helsinki system, called "Ruoholahti", literally meaning "Grass Bay". Grassfield Bay will have a single island platform between the tracks and a roof that curves along the sides. A single strip of lights in the centre will provide lighting for the station.
Grassfield Bay will include two escalators that lead to the platform as well as an elevator on the other side of the platform. Visually I will use the "Hakaniemi" station of the real system as a guideline, so the station will have a very plain and functional style without many colors or advertisements everywhere.
